A2I is a Non-Residential Center for Independent Living, serving people with Disabilities. We are a Not for Profit, Private organization helping people with Disabilities live Independently in their community. Through peer support sharing life experiences we help others find the resources to achieve Independence.
IL Philosophy
Independent Living is being in control of the decisions in your life. People with disabilities are the best experts on their needs, and therefore they must advocate, individually and collectively, in promoting better solutions. The IL Movement claims, persons with disabilities have the same right to participation, to the same range of options, degree of freedom, control and self-determination in every day life and life projects that other citizens take for granted.
Mission
Access 2 Independence aims to provide members of the disabled community with services, support and advocacy -- to empower them to participate in the community and live Independently.
